Senior Electro-Optics Engineer / Physicist

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a brilliant and experienced Senior Electro-Optics Engineer / Physicist to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be a key technological pillar, driving the design and development of next-generation homing head technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electro-optical and radiometric deliverables in the development of advanced homing heads.

• Formulate and architect the electro-optical system for the homing head.

• Conduct comprehensive system analysis, develop physical models, and perform operations research/performance evaluation.

• Design and execute advanced laboratory experiments for system-level verification of homing head performance.

• Collaborate closely with algorithm developers, systems engineers, software engineers, and QA teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics / Electro-Optics Engineering / Electrical Engineering – Significant advantage.

• Experience: 3+ years of industry experience as a Physicist or Electro-Optics Engineer – Must.

• Lab Expertise: Extensive, hands-on experience working in electro-optics/radiometry laboratories – Must.

• Technical Skills: Years of practical experience in image processing utilizing Matlab / Python – Must.

• Theoretical Knowledge: Deep and thorough understanding of wave optics, Gaussian beams, radiometry, and blackbody radiation laws – Must.

• Leadership: Proven experience leading an engineering team – Advantage.

• Optical Design: Experience with optical design software (Zemax / Oslo) – Advantage.

• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
