Network Engineer Team Manager

A leading and well-established Telecommunications and Media service provider delivering high-scale internet, data, and media solutions.

The company manages complex, high-throughput enterprise network environments and core ISP infrastructure across the country.

Located in central Israel, operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description

• Joining as a Technical Team Lead / Professional Authority managing a team of 4 network engineers.

• Serving as the ultimate technical escalations focal point for complex systemic network issues and outages.

• Managing and maintaining core ISP and MPLS network architectures, routing policies, and traffic optimization.

• Hands-on leadership in driving network operational tasks, automation, and team execution.

• The position requires availability for critical system faults during non-standard hours and weekends when necessary.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of hands-on Network Engineering experience in large-scale, complex IP / ISP networks – Mandatory

• Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper enterprise/service-provider routers and switches – Mandatory

• Strong practical experience with internet and core protocols: DNS, HTTP, SSL, DHCP, PPPoE, Radius – Mandatory

• Hands-on expertise with ISP technologies and routing protocols: MPLS, RSVP, BGP, ISIS, SR, LFA – Mandatory

• Proven experience in technical team management, task orchestration, or team leadership – Advantage

• Hands-on experience with security and load balancing platforms (F5, Allot, Fortinet, A10) – Advantage
