About the Role

A government organization in Jerusalem is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer (GCP) to join its Cyber Security team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing, operating, and maintaining enterprise cyber security solutions while securing Google Cloud environments. You'll work with advanced security technologies, respond to cyber incidents, support cloud security initiatives, and collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, and Development teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage, and maintain enterprise cyber security solutions.

• Secure and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cyber security incidents.

• Manage user access, permissions, and security policies.

• Administer security technologies including Firewalls, IPS, DLP, and Endpoint Protection.

• Support enterprise security projects and cloud security initiatives.

• Troubleshoot security issues and improve the organization's cyber resilience.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Networking, and Development teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security.

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience working with:

• GCP Networking

• VPC Firewall

• Security Command Center (SCC)

• Logging & Monitoring

• Cloud Armor

• VPC Service Controls

• Google SecOps

• Data Security & Encryption

• Experience with F5 and Check Point security solutions.

• Hands-on experience implementing and managing Firewalls, IPS, DLP, Endpoint Protection, and other enterprise security products.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Alternatively, equivalent professional training in Information Security or Cyber Security.

• Graduates of elite military technology units (Mamram, Unit 8200, C4I, or equivalent) are welcome to apply.
