Job Description

A government organization in the Dimona area is seeking an experienced SOC Team Lead (Level 3) to lead its Security Operations Center team.

The role includes team leadership, shift management, incident response, cyber threat monitoring, and working with advanced cyber security technologies in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the SOC analyst team.

• Manage daily shift operations and workforce scheduling.

• Provide professional guidance and operational support.

• Detect, investigate, and respond to complex cyber security incidents.

• Operate and optimize SIEM and security monitoring platforms.

• Work with Incident Response and cyber defense tools.

• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Infrastructure, and IT teams.

• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes and procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a SOC Analyst or SOC Operator.

• Experience leading teams or serving as a shift leader – advantage.

• Strong knowledge of networking, communication protocols, and information security.

• Experience with Linux, Windows Server, DNS, and Active Directory.

• Experience working with SIEM platforms.

• Familiarity with security technologies such as Firewalls, Antivirus, and Sandbox solutions.

• Experience using incident analysis and response tools.

• Ability to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber security incidents.

Successful completion of a Level 1 government security clearance is required.
