Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading defense technology company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team, developing innovative multidisciplinary systems from concept through production.

What You'll Do

• Conduct research, define requirements, and select mechanical materials and components for multidisciplinary systems.

• Lead mechanical design activities from concept development to detailed design, including engineering analyses.

• Define parts and procurement requirements for prototype development and proof-of-concept builds.

• Support prototype assembly, develop test procedures, and participate in verification and validation activities.

• Provide engineering support during development testing and design verification.

• Accompany products throughout the entire lifecycle, from development and prototyping to serial production.

What We're Looking For

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical product development.

• Experience in material selection and environmental design considerations, preferably in defense-related systems.

• Proven experience supporting products throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to mass production.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including basic Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

• Familiarity with engineering configuration and quality control processes, including ECP, ECO, and MRB.

• Experience designing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) systems – a significant advantage.
