Technical Operations Lead

The Role

We're looking for a Technical Operations Lead to become the operational backbone of our business - bridging Sales, Customers, Suppliers, and Production.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for taking projects from signed contract to successful delivery while building the operational infrastructure that will support our global growth.

You'll work closely with the CEO, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, managing customer relationships, supplier operations, quality control, and logistics.

The ideal candidate comes from a hardware startup or advanced manufacturing environment, understands mechanical production inside and out, and thrives in fast-moving, early-stage companies where ownership is everything.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales-to-Operations Ownership

• Take full ownership of customer projects immediately after orders are issued.

• Review technical requirements, mechanical drawings, and commercial agreements to launch production efficiently.

• Ensure seamless handoff between Sales and Operations while maintaining customer confidence.

Customer Success & Project Execution

• Serve as the primary operational contact for customers throughout production.

• Provide proactive project updates, manage timelines, resolve issues, and exceed customer expectations.

• Coordinate production schedules across multiple suppliers and manufacturing projects simultaneously.

Supplier Development & Manufacturing Network

• Source, evaluate, and onboard high-quality manufacturing partners.

• Expand and strengthen SOURCIX's supplier network across machining, sheet metal, casting, injection molding and additional manufacturing technologies.

• Build long-term strategic relationships with suppliers while monitoring performance, quality, pricing, and delivery.

Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Excellence

• Ensure every manufactured part complies with customer specifications, engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements.

• Establish and improve supplier quality processes and inspection standards.

• Manage quality issues, corrective actions, and continuous supplier improvement initiatives.

Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

• Oversee domestic and international shipments, customs processes, freight coordination, inventory management, and final deliveries.

• Ensure smooth execution across the complete supply chain from purchase order through customer delivery.

Operational Leadership

• Build scalable operational processes, SOPs, and internal workflows.

• Lead daily activities of the operations team while driving operational excellence.

• Utilize CRM systems, AI-powered tools, and operational analytics to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Technical Project Management.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience.

• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical blueprints, BOMs, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, injection molding, welding, plating, and finishing.

• Experience working in a hardware startup, industrial technology company, OEM, or fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience managing suppliers, sourcing activities, and manufacturing operations.

• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and supplier quality management.

• Practical understanding of international shipping, import/export processes, and supply chain operations.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong customer-facing communication skills with experience working directly with procurement teams, engineers, and executive stakeholders.

• Experience working with CRM or ERP platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Native or fluent Hebrew and excellent written and spoken English.
