Clinical Integration Specialist (Hospital IT Integration / Field Service Engineer – Healthcare / Medical Device Implementation Engineer)

About the Role

We're looking for someone who has either (a) worked inside a hospital or clinic — in IT or biomedical/clinical engineering — integrating clinical systems, or (b) worked at a medical device or health-tech company deploying and integrating their product into hospital environments (PACS, EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS). If your day-to-day has involved connecting technology to real hospital systems and working alongside hospital IT or clinical teams, this role was built with you in mind.

The Clinical Integration Specialist serves as the primary technical liaison between AISAP and its hospital and clinic customers, responsible for deploying, configuring, and integrating AISAP's AI ultrasound platform with existing clinical IT infrastructure.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end integration of AISAP's platform with hospital systems (EHR/EMR, PACS, HIS, LIS) using standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM

• Working directly with hospital and clinic IT teams to gather requirements, configure interfaces, and validate integrations in production environments

• Performing system configuration, interface setup, and troubleshooting of integration issues

• Supporting on-site and remote deployments, go-lives, and system upgrades at customer sites

• Ensuring data integrity, security compliance, and system interoperability

• Collaborating with internal product, clinical, and R&D teams to translate customer feedback into improvements

• Documenting technical processes, configurations, and issue resolutions

• Delivering technical training to customer IT staff and clinical users

Required Qualifications

• You've configured, troubleshot, or supported integrations between clinical systems (PACS, EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS) at a hospital, clinic, or vendor site — whether your title was Biomedical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Technical Support, Integration Specialist, or similar. You know HL7, FHIR, and/or DICOM from live production environments, not just in theory.

• Proven experience integrating a medical device, imaging system, or clinical software product into hospital IT environments — either as hospital/clinic staff or as a vendor working on-site with hospital IT teams

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex, production healthcare environments

• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, networking fundamentals, and information security best practices

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders (clinical, IT, management)

• Strong English — written and spoken (customer-facing with international clients)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

• Prior experience in medical devices, healthtech, or AI-driven clinical platforms

• Experience with on-site deployments and go-lives in hospital environments

• Familiarity with clinical workflows in radiology, emergency medicine, or point-of-care ultrasound
