Android Tech Lead

NESS is looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to lead the development of Native Android applications, manage development processes, and lead cross-platform Android and iOS teams.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Native Android application development – Required

• Strong development experience with Java and Kotlin – Required

• At least 2 years of experience leading Android and iOS development teams – Required

• Proficiency with Jetpack, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, LiveData, ViewModel, and Data Binding – Required

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party library integration – Required

• Strong understanding of modern software architecture principles such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or MVP – Required

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions – Required

• Proven experience leading cross-platform Android and iOS projects – Required

• Experience planning and managing tasks in an Agile/Scrum environment – Required

• Experience developing Cloud Native Applications and integrating with backend services – Advantage

• Knowledge of automated testing (Unit Tests, Integration Tests) – Advantage

• Experience with libraries such as Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, or RxJava – Advantage
