Research and Development Test Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Define optical equipment specifications and provide tailored solutions based on customer requirements.

• Plan and design imaging setups for test analysis at company facilities and field test sites across Israel.

• Participate in field surveys, technical reviews and experimental activities.

• Work with optical systems, including thermal imaging, SWIR, drones, high-speed cameras and video systems.

• Set up test-site infrastructure, including communication, electrical and imaging systems.

• Apply image-processing and computer-vision algorithms.

• Perform dynamic analysis of various objects and experimental events.

• Analyze test results, prepare summary reports and present findings to customers.

• Work under pressure and assume high responsibility during critical, one-time experiments.

• Perform a diverse role combining laboratory work, field activity and occasional non-standard working hours.

Requirements:

• Bsc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience conducting experiments or managing a laboratory.

• Knowledge of image processing and computer vision - an advantage.

• Experience operating optical systems - an advantage.

• Experience analyzing and investigating experimental results - an advantage.
