Mechanical Engineer

Role Description-

• Joining as a Lead / Senior Mechanical Engineer, driving the hands-on mechanical design, architecture, and engineering execution for complex autonomous drone sub-systems and flight components.

• Taking full ownership of the end-to-end mechanical engineering lifecycle: from initial concept design and 3D modeling to production transfer and manufacturing support.

• Authoring and maintaining rigorous technical documentation, engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and detailed Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Collaborating cross-functionally with Hardware, Electronics, Avionics, Systems, and Manufacturing engineering squads.

• Hands-on involvement in rapid prototyping, laboratory integration, structural validation, and field-testing.

• Identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex mechanical and structural failures during development, validation, and flight-testing phases.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized academic institution – Mandatory

• 8 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in complex, multidisciplinary systems – Mandatory

• Extensive hands-on design experience with plastics, sheet metal, precision machining, and composite materials (Carbon Fiber) – Mandatory

• High proficiency in SolidWorks CAD and PDM/PLM environments – Mandatory

• High-level, fluent written and verbal English communication skills – Mandatory

• Proven track record in Drones (UAVs), Aerospace, Robotics, or Autonomous vehicles – Significant Advantage

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven experience collaborating across cross-functional engineering teams – Mandatory
