🚀 We're Hiring: Junior Back End Engineer | Petah Tikva (Hybrid) – 12-Month Contract

What You'll Do

🔹 Develop and maintain backend services that support fraud prevention capabilities.

🔹 Build and enhance systems that detect and prevent fraudulent activity in real time.

🔹 Work with server-side technologies, APIs, and database systems.

🔹 Support testing, monitoring, debugging, and production issue resolution.

🔹 Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions.

🔹 Contribute to improving system performance, scalability, and user protection.

What We're Looking For

✅ B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

✅ Experience with a server-side programming language such as Java, Python, or Node.js (academic projects, internships, or personal projects count).

✅ Familiarity with databases and RESTful API design.

✅ Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Agile development practices.

✅ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

✅ Good communication and collaboration skills.

✅ Interest in AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Codex, or similar technologies.

Nice to Have

⭐ Hands-on experience with Java.

⭐ Familiarity with rule engines (such as Drools).

⭐ Interest in Fraud Prevention, Trust & Safety, or Risk Management systems.
