CapsiBreed is a young and dynamic startup pioneering gene editing in recalcitrant crops. We are looking for two Laboratory Technicians to join our R&D team. The first year will be based in Rehovot, after which relocation to Qiryat Shemona is required.
We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in molecular biology, plant tissue culture, and gene editing, and a strong background in plant science or related fields.
The expected start date is October 2026.
Requirements:
• BSc or MSc in Plant Sciences or a related field (required)
• Experience in molecular biology and/or plant tissue culture (required)
• Practical experience with CRISPR-based techniques (advantage)
• Strong experimental skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
