Infrastructure & Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team.

This role combines hands-on System Administration with Cyber Security, focusing on managing and securing enterprise Microsoft environments. You will be responsible for maintaining critical infrastructure, leading infrastructure projects, implementing advanced security controls, and supporting a hybrid On-Premises and Cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID.

• Administer hybrid environments integrating On-Premises infrastructure with Microsoft Cloud services.

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft security solutions, including Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, and identity protection.

• Manage virtualization environments based on VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

• Implement and maintain security controls such as EDR/XDR, SIEM, Firewall, and WAF solutions.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, and infrastructure hardening across cloud and on-premises environments.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, security, networking, and virtualization issues.

• Lead infrastructure and security projects from planning through implementation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable enterprise solutions.

• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell whenever applicable.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer in a medium or large enterprise environment.

• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Hybrid environments.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Conditional Access, MFA, and DLP.

• Experience managing Windows Servers and Exchange environments.

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi.

• Experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam.

• Good understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, routing, firewalls, and enterprise security architecture.

• Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, WAF, and vulnerability management solutions.

• PowerShell scripting experience – a significant advantage.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead projects and work with multiple stakeholders.
