Engineering Team Lead

It creates fundamentally different creative hypotheses, each one built from real performance signals. Sett is looking for a Engineering Team Lead to join our out-of-this-world, cross-functional team. Requirements: • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring, hiring, and performance management - MUST • Hands-on, day-to-day use of LLMs in development workflows - MUST • Strong hands-on experience with Python (4+ years) - MUST • Proven expertise in designing and scaling large-scale, high-availability systems - MUST • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex backend systems, from architecture to production and ongoing maintenance • Experience defining technical direction, making architectural decisions, and aligning engineering execution with business goals • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and observability best practices • Hands-on leader with the ability to dive deep into code while guiding and unblocking the team • Curiosity, strong ownership mindset, and a passion for building high-quality, impactful technology • Experience with agentic workflows and AI orchestration frameworks – advantage
