Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with one of our enterprise customers in Tel Aviv - someone who moves fluidly between code, data, and process, and who is comfortable being the technical face of Linnovate on-site.

About the Role As an FDE, you will sit inside the customer's organization, translating messy real-world operational problems into working technical solutions. You will move across the full stack of the engagement: understanding how the business actually works today, mapping and re-designing its processes, and then building - or automating - the tools that make the new process real. Success in this role looks like a customer who trusts you to walk into any team, understand what they need within days, and ship something that works.

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team - a versatile builder who is hungry to learn, grow, and make a real impact. This is a mid-level role designed for someone with strong analytical instincts and the drive to turn ambiguous business problems into shipped, working systems.

This is a full-time, on-site role located at our customer's office in Tel Aviv.

Tech Stack Python/JavaScript, AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex), SQL & data analysis tooling, workflow automation platforms (e.g. n8n/langchain), Linux, Docker, CI/CD basics.

What You'll Do • Embed with the customer's teams to understand their day-to-day operations and pain points first-hand.

• Map and characterize existing organizational processes, identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities.

• Design and build software tools and automations that solve the problems you uncover, using modern AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and Codex to move fast.

• Analyze data from customer systems to surface insights and validate the impact of new processes.

• Deploy and maintain lightweight infrastructure for the tools you build, applying basic DevOps practices.

• Partner with customer stakeholders and Linnovate's internal teams to keep solutions aligned with real business needs.

• Uphold information security best practices when handling customer data and systems.

Requirements (Must-Have) • 3-5 years of experience in a hands-on technical role combining software development with real-world problem solving.

• Working knowledge of programming and modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar.

• Solid data analysis skills - comfortable exploring, querying, and drawing conclusions from real datasets.

• Proven experience in characterizing organizational processes (business analysis / process definition).

• Ability to map organizational processes end-to-end and identify where technology can help.

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. n8n, langchain, mastra or similar).

• Basic DevOps capabilities for installations and deployments.

• Solid understanding of information security principles.

Nice to Have • Prior experience working on-site at a customer / consulting environment.

• Familiarity with open-source technologies and communities.

• Background in enterprise software or IT operations.
