Mechanical Engineer – Optomechanics Team

Location: Or Akiva.

Job Description:

• Engineering development of new products from concept to serial production in the field of optomechanics

• Design of military systems operating in severe environmental conditions (extreme temperatures, shocks, submersion, etc.)

• Design of plastic injection molded parts using composite materials

• PCB packaging and design, including familiarity with board-level electronic components

• Design of flexible cable harnesses

• Collaboration with industrial designers and optical engineers

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical development

• At least 3 years of experience in optomechanics – packaging optical elements at the single-lens level

• Proficiency in manufacturing technologies: CNC machining, die casting, investment casting, etc.

• Full proficiency in SolidWorks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
