Project Manager

Microcon, a growing defense company is seeking a Project Manager to join the Programs & Customers team and lead multidisciplinary projects for electro-optical products for customers in Israel and abroad. The role includes end-to-end project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive projects from the Marketing Department following contract award.

• Conduct contract reviews and create orders in the ERP system.

• Coordinate customer expectations and ensure completion of required regulatory documentation.

• Monitor production and operations activities to ensure compliance with assembly and delivery schedules.

• Collect and manage P/Ns, serial numbers, delivery notes, and regulatory documents.

• Manage customer relationships following delivery and coordinate support requests with relevant departments.

• Organize and coordinate customer-site integration activities.

• Conduct product demonstrations for prospective customers in Hebrew and English.

• Track project milestones, report status to customers and management, and manage project risks.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in project management and/or account management within multidisciplinary environments, both domestically and internationally.

• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Operations, Customer Support, Marketing, and Management teams.

• Strong technical understanding of multidisciplinary systems.

• High level of customer service orientation and experience working with customers in Israel and abroad.

• Fluent Hebrew and English (written and verbal) – mandatory. The role requires conducting product demonstrations and maintaining ongoing communication with international customers.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a hands-on approach, and full ownership mentality.

Significant Advantage:

• Background as a UAV/Drone Pilot or Operator.

• Familiarity with electro-optical systems.

Additional Advantages:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or MBA.

• Experience working with ERP systems (Priority preferred).

• Familiarity with export control and export compliance regulations.
