About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hebrew Linguist with experience in audio transcription to support language and speech-data projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing Hebrew audio content, reviewing transcription quality, and ensuring adherence to project guidelines and quality standards.

This is a remote freelance opportunity for professionals with strong Hebrew language skills, excellent listening abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Hebrew audio recordings into written text with a high level of accuracy.

• Review, edit, and validate transcriptions for linguistic and grammatical quality.

• Accurately capture accents, dialects, and speech variations in audio content.

• Follow project-specific transcription guidelines and quality requirements.

• Meet assigned productivity and turnaround expectations.

• Maintain confidentiality and handle project data securely.

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve language-related questions and quality issues.

Required Qualifications

• Professional-level proficiency in Hebrew, including strong reading, writing, and listening skills.

• Experience working on audio transcription projects.

• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

• Good computer skills and familiarity with transcription tools or online platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with linguistic annotation, speech data, or language-related projects.

• Experience supporting AI, speech recognition, natural language processing (NLP), or language technology initiatives.

• Previous work in transcription quality review, content review, or language data validation.
