Senior C++ Software Engineer

About the Role

Malam, within the Missiles & Space Division, is looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer.

The role includes:

• Developing software in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including algorithm engineers, electronics and RF engineers, system engineers, test engineers, and, when required, subcontractors.

• Developing complex Real-Time (RT) / Embedded systems in C++.

• Algorithm development.

• Working with software-to-firmware interfaces.

• System management and communication with external components.

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering – Mandatory.

• At least 10 years of experience developing software for RT Embedded systems in C++ – Mandatory.

• Proven experience with Multi-Core and Multi-Threading – Mandatory.

• Proven experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) – Mandatory.

• Strong mathematical orientation – Significant Advantage.

• Experience with FreeRTOS or other RTOS operating systems – Significant Advantage.

• Experience developing complex systems – Significant Advantage.

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – Significant Advantage.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes – Significant Advantage.

• Theoretical knowledge of Navigation, RF, and DSP – Advantage.

• Experience developing in an AI-based development environment – Advantage.
