22782 - Mobile Automation Engineer

Job description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated mobile automation engineer to join our team and be a part of an engineering team that develop top notch mobile applications in a fintech company. This is a full-time position in Tel-Aviv

You will be responsible for leading automation projects, developing and implementing automation tests, and owning quality processes within SDLC.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mobile applications and APIs.

• Define and drive test automation strategy for assigned features or products.

• Build and maintain mobile UI automation suites using Appium.

• Develop and own comprehensive API test coverage.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution health.

• Investigate complex test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and report defects.

• Validate system behavior and data integrity across SQL and MongoDB data stores.

• Review code from other engineers and enforce team coding standards.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to onboarding and knowledge sharing.

Profile description:

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Mobile automation development, both frontend and backend.

• Hands-on experience with leading automation tools and technologies: Android SDK, Playwright, Appium, Jenkins, Git.Hands-on experience with writing mobile automation tests for IOS and Android platforms using Appium and integration with device farm.

• In-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Typescript.

• Ability to analyze and understand business processes, and the capability to plan and implement advanced technological solutions.

• Experience in prompt engineering and effective use of AI tools, like AI Agents, and skills to accelerate test development.

• Experience working with DevOps, creating pipelines and jobs for CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge and experience with DB systems like SQL Server and Mongo DB

• Experience working with monitoring tools like Splunk and Kibana.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage goals, and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• BA/BS.C in computer science or similar experience.
