AI / Deep Learning Algorithm Developer

A medical robotics startup developing an advanced multidisciplinary surgical system is looking for an AI / Deep Learning Algorithm Developer to join its algorithms team.

This is a hands-on, research-oriented role combining advanced Deep Learning, classical algorithms and real-world product development in a complex medical environment.

What you’ll do

• Develop Deep Learning algorithms from concept and experimentation through POC and product integration

• Work on challenging Computer Vision, registration and medical imaging problems

• Develop solutions involving graph-based learning / GNNs, generative models and classical CV

• Build, train, evaluate and optimize Deep Learning models

• Translate research ideas into robust, production-oriented implementations

• Take ownership of the full algorithm development cycle, from early exploration to runtime implementation

• Collaborate closely with software, system and clinical teams

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related field; M.Sc. / Ph.D. – advantage

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Deep Learning algorithms

• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow

• Experience in Computer Vision

• Strong algorithmic thinking and solid software development capabilities

• Experience with image/video registration, medical imaging or graph-based learning / GNNs

• Experience with generative models such as GANs, Diffusion Models or VAEs

• CUDA / C++ experience
