Location: Rishon LeZion, Israel (Hybrid: 1 Day WFH)
About the Opportunity
One of Israel’s leading financial institutions is making a massive, strategic investment in transforming its software engineering culture. We are building an enterprise-grade AI ecosystem to empower hundreds of developers, improve code quality, and redefine developer productivity.
We are looking for a senior, highly autonomous Enterprise AI4Tech Platform, Governance & Economics Lead to report directly to our CTO. In this high-visibility, cross-organizational role, you will be the ultimate "AI Champion"-owning the end-to-end strategy, developer enablement, security alignment, and financial optimization of our AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).
Key Responsibilities
• Drive Developer Enablement & Cultural Change: Serve as the internal AI Evangelist. Organize hackathons, workshops, and hands-on onboarding sessions to overcome usage barriers and drive deep, continuous AI adoption across all engineering teams.
• Balanced AI Governance & Security: Maintain indirect security oversight by collaborating closely with Cyber, InfoSec, Legal, and Privacy teams. Establish clear usage policies that ensure ironclad compliance without slowing down developer workflows.
• AI FinOps & Vendor Economics: Take economic ownership of the enterprise AI toolchain. Analyze usage trends, optimize license allocations, negotiate with commercial AI vendors, and eliminate resource waste.
• AI Toolchain Strategy: Continuously evaluate emerging AI-assisted engineering technologies, benchmark competitive solutions, and curate the organization’s approved tech catalog.
• Executive & Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the strategic focal point for AI-for-Engineering across all tiers-from developers in the field to executive leadership.
What We Are Looking For
• Hands-On Engineering Foundation: 5-7 years of past software development experience with strong core engineering principles.
• Proven AI Leadership: At least 2 years of experience leading cross-organizational AI enablement or adoption initiatives in large-scale environments.
• Enterprise & Cyber Familiarity: Demonstrated experience navigating security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks within large enterprise or tech environments.
• Company Background: Background in innovative tech companies, cybersecurity firms, modern enterprises, or elite military tech units (e.g., 8200, 81, Mamram—a strong advantage).
• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical background.
Why Join Us?
• High impact and full ownership directly alongside C-level leadership.
• Backing of a financially robust market leader driving aggressive digital innovation.
• Premium compensation package, including strong performance bonuses and industry-leading enterprise benefits.
