Algorithm Researcher

We are hiring an Algorithm Researcher to join ELTA Systems in Ashdod (Intelligence, Communications & Electronic Warfare Division).

🔹 Role Overview

• Conduct research and development of advanced algorithms, from feasibility studies and concept development to implementation and system integration

• Join a professional R&D team focused on cutting-edge intelligence and electronic warfare systems

• Collaborate with Ministry of Defense representatives, customers, project managers, and system engineers

• Apply system-level thinking with strong attention to detail

• Lead processes independently and as part of a team

🔹 Requirements

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Physics – required

• Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), algorithms, and estimation theory – required

• Proven experience in R&D of signal processing algorithms and system analysis

• Knowledge in DSP, ADC/DAC, and stochastic processes

• Experience in digital communications (DAB/DVBT) – advantage

• Experience in FPGA-based algorithm implementation – advantage

• Familiarity with communication systems, radar, SIGINT, or electronic warfare – advantage

• Strong analytical skills, system thinking, and ability to work both independently and in teams
