Analyst I Job Description (U.S., Tel Aviv, or Cayman)
Kobre & Kim is a global law firm focused exclusively on disputes and investigations, with a strength in complex cross-border matters. The firm’s work spans financial products and services litigation, insolvency disputes, intellectual property litigation, international judgment enforcement and asset recovery, and U.S. government enforcement and regulatory investigations.

Recent successes include winning a US $604.9 million jury verdict and a total award exceeding US $833 million for a green fuel company in a landmark U.S. trial as well as securing the dismissal in the English courts of the Kingdom of Spain’s challenge to recognition of a €120 million ICSID award.
Your Impact
Our Analysts are an elite cohort of early-career individuals who gain substantive, hands-on experience supporting complex international civil and criminal financial litigation. As members of case teams, Analysts work alongside attorneys and business professionals, with exposure to client matters, pro bono work, knowledge management and global business development. The work is varied and fast-paced, with responsibilities adapting to the needs of each matter.
We are seeking intellectually curious graduates with strong research, writing, analytical and problem-solving skills. An interest in law, disputes, investigations or financial markets is a plus, but a legal background is not required.
As Analysts progress, they develop highly desirable transferable skills in research and problem-solving, financial and quantitative analysis, project and matter management, and written and verbal communication. These skills open doors across a wide range of careers and industries. Our alumni have gone on to pursue diverse paths, from careers in law and business to opportunities across other industries and professional fields. Those pursuing legal careers have gone on to leading law schools, including Yale, Harvard and Stanford, and secured training contracts with prominent law firms. Key Responsibilities
• Attend court hearings and client meetings under attorney supervision.
• Support preparation for court appearances (including trials), client meetings, and witness interviews.
• Coordinate with local counsel, experts, investigators and other external service providers in support of cross-border matters.
• Conduct factual and financial analysis in support of complex matters.
• Conduct legal research under attorney supervision.
• Draft court documents under attorney supervision.
• Review and analyze disclosure and legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Manage day-to-day case and matter administration.
• Prepare attorney and client binders.
• Maintain case and firm information systems.
Career Development
Analysts join the firm as Analyst I and, after their first year, may pursue opportunities, including advancement to Analyst II, leadership roles, specialization in practice areas, and potential transfers to other departments or offices worldwide. Advancement is based on performance, skill development, contributions to the team, quality of work and ability to take on increasing responsibility.
Qualifications
• Genuine interest in Kobre & Kim’s work and commitment to remain with the firm for a minimum of two years. (required)
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university with a strong academic record. (required)
• Graduates from all academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including STEM, finance, social sciences and humanities.

• Strong academic, analytical, research and written communication skills. (required)
• Ability to work outside standard business hours as needed, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on assignments.
• Excellent teamwork, organization, project management, and attention to detail, with creative and anticipatory thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic, proactivity, and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a plus: Korean, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Hebrew, Mandarin, Cantonese, French, Arabic, German, Italian, and Japanese.

Additional Information
• U.S. locations only: At the time of posting, the base salary for this role is US $80,000 (minimum) – US $80,000 (maximum), based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus.
• While we try to accommodate office location preferences, final placement depends on available openings and firm business needs. Office transfer requests are considered after one year of employment.
• Each office follows either a fully in-office or hybrid schedule based on jurisdiction. For example, our U.S. offices require employees be present at least 3 out of 5 business days per week. Office attendance requirements are set by firm leadership and/or client business needs.
