Application Infrastructure Specialist

A leading financial institution is looking for an Application Infrastructure Specialist to join a challenging and dynamic role in a complex Production environment, working with cloud technologies, Web infrastructure, automation, and AI solutions.

The Role:

• Manage, operate, and maintain application infrastructure and managed cloud services

• Work closely with Development, DevOps, Infrastructure, Cyber Security teams, and vendors

• Lead technological projects, implementations, upgrades, and migrations

• Proactively monitor systems, identify issues, and provide rapid troubleshooting and resolution

• Work with storage, networking, and information security infrastructure

• Implement automation and AI/LLM solutions to improve and optimize work processes

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing application infrastructure

• 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a complex enterprise environment

• 3+ years of experience with application servers and technologies including IIS, WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat

• 3+ years of experience managing cloud-based environments and SaaS/PaaS technologies

• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tools

• 3+ years of experience managing Linux servers in RedHat/CentOS environments

• 3+ years of experience with HTTPS, encrypted Web communication, and digital certificates

• 2+ years of experience with Kerberos and NTLM authentication protocols

• Hands-on experience with AI and LLM tools, including Prompt Engineering for developing solutions, automation, and process optimization

• Very high level of English – reading, writing, and speaking

Advantages:

• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, Batch, and PowerShell

• Professional certifications such as AWS, Azure, MCITP, or CCNA

• Experience with troubleshooting and user-side monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, Process Monitor, and Browser Developer Console

• Experience with Web monitoring tools such as SCOM, AppDynamics, Elasticsearch, and Kibana

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Experience managing ETL processes
