Automation Engineer

The office is located in Tel Aviv adjacent to the train station, operating on a hybrid model with two days working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a QA Automation Engineer, taking full end-to-end ownership over quality assurance for new features within a core development squad, from design ideation through to production release.

• Architecting, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test automation frameworks covering UI, RESTful APIs, and Backend services.

• Embedding advanced Generative AI tooling (e.g., Claude) directly into test planning, script generation, and workflow optimization to accelerate testing velocity.

• Collaborating closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers in a fast-paced Agile / Scrum environment.

• Formulating detailed test plans, executing regression suites, analyzing system logs, and querying databases to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

• Championing robust software testing best practices and continuous integration to maintain high release quality in a cloud-native production setting.

Requirements-

• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in QA Automation – Mandatory

• Deep expertise in building and maintaining test automation infrastructures across UI, API, and Backend environments – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries – Mandatory

• Practical experience leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance testing efficiency, test case generation, and productivity – Mandatory

• Thorough understanding of the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and test strategy design – Mandatory

• Proven background working in an Agile / Scrum development environment – Mandatory

• Hands-on programming experience with C# / .NET – Significant Advantage

• Solid background with modern automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium) – Significant Advantage

• Prior experience testing distributed cloud platforms or high-scale enterprise SaaS applications – Advantage
