About the Role

A leading bank in Central Israel is looking for an Automation QA Team Lead to lead its automation strategy and drive innovation across quality assurance processes.

In this role, you'll lead the Automation QA team, manage end-to-end testing initiatives, and play a key role in implementing AI-driven automation solutions while building new automation capabilities from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Automation QA team.

• Build and manage automation roadmaps and work plans.

• Drive automated testing for Web, Mobile, and REST APIs.

• Design and implement AI-powered automation solutions.

• Build AI capabilities for QA processes.

• Lead automation efforts across strategic projects.

• Execute performance and load testing using JMeter.

• Work in Microservices and distributed architecture environments.

• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in QA automation.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Experience leading a team or technical leadership.

• Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions in automation processes.

• At least 3 years of software development experience (Java preferred).

• Experience with Web UI automation (Playwright is an advantage).

• Experience with Appium for Mobile automation.

• Experience testing REST APIs.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps is an advantage).

• Experience with JMeter.

• Experience with Git and modern development methodologies.
