Automation Tech Lead

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Automation Tech Lead to lead the technical direction of our automation infrastructure and drive the adoption of scalable, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions.

The role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership, architecture, and mentoring, working closely with QA, R&D, DevOps, and Product teams.

What you'll do:

• Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture of automation

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks

• Develop automated tests using Python and pytest

• Integrate and maintain automation within CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins

• Define automation best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines

• Improve automation stability, execution time, coverage, and maintainability

• Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex automation and system issues

• Mentor automation engineers and conduct code reviews

• Collaborate with R&D to improve product testability and quality

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies and approaches, including AI-based testing and automation

What you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software development

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and pytest

• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks

• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD, preferably Jenkins

• Experience with AI-assisted development or testing

• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes

• Experience with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills

• Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence teams without formal authority

Advantage:

• Experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, REST APIs, networking, or distributed systems

• Experience with performance, scalability, or reliability testing

• Previous experience as an Automation Lead or Technical Lead

Education:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
