Software Architect

ELTA Systems' Software Division is seeking a Software Architect to lead the design and architecture of complex, large-scale software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the architecture of complex software systems.

• Define and implement software development standards, principles, and methodologies.

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and consulting to development teams and management.

• Evaluate, introduce, and promote new technologies and emerging industry trends.

• Support project managers and product managers in solving complex technical challenges and driving architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics – required.

• At least 5 years of proven software development experience in large and complex systems – required.

• Deep understanding of software architecture patterns, design principles, and their practical implementation – required.

• Experience leading development teams and mentoring software engineers – required.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies – an advantage.

• Background in defense systems, preferably radar systems – an advantage.

• Experience in software-hardware integration – an advantage.

• Strong leadership skills, high motivation, systems thinking, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
