Senior Systems Engineer – Job No. 237945

Location: Jezreel Valley / Gilboa Area, Israel

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary R&D department and play a key role in shaping the technological direction of complex electro-mechanical products.

The position involves close collaboration with mechanical and electronics engineering teams, project managers, production teams, and customers throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define system concepts, architecture, and system requirements.

• Write and maintain system engineering documentation, including interface specifications, risk management, verification, and validation documents.

• Lead professional interfaces and technical discussions with customers.

• Manage technical negotiations and translate customer needs into clear system requirements.

• Lead system design reviews.

• Plan and lead system-level, performance, environmental, and reliability testing.

• Write test procedures, analyze results, and issue technical reports.

• Support and lead the transition from development to production.

• Work closely with project managers, R&D engineers, production teams, and additional stakeholders.

• Develop project work plans together with the Project Manager.

• Contribute to the technological roadmap of the company’s products.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering roles.

• Experience with complex electro-mechanical products – a significant advantage.

• Experience in defining and writing system requirements.

• Experience working directly with customers.

• Familiarity with MIL-STD standards.

• Strong system-level thinking, creativity, and independent learning capabilities.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

• High-level English proficiency.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Advantages:

• Formal studies or certification in Systems Engineering.

• Academic background in thermodynamics.
