Engineering Team Lead

Most banks are still held back by massive mainframe systems built decades ago. We build the modern, next-generation architecture that lets them finally move off legacy infrastructure. The backoffice platform your team builds is a critical part of this ecosystem—it is the core engine that allows financial institutions to manage, monitor, and run these new modern systems. As an Engineering Team Lead, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and maintaining software that powers this transition—where reliability, precision, and performance are paramount. You will guide an agile team of full-stack engineers, balancing technical system architecture with hands-on development and people mentorship.

Requirements: • 4+ years of professional software development experience, including time spent leading or mentoring developers in an agile environment. • Deep proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript across both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) environments. • Experience working on product cores, engines, backoffice dashboards, or data-intensive infrastructure software is a strong advantage. • Experience in environments with a low margin for error (e.g., fintech, core banking operations, or medical applications) is a plus. • Familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks like Temporal (used for long-running processes) is also a plus • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, with an eye for identifying bottlenecks in data processing. • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
