Backend Chapter Lead

Comblack is hiring a Backend Chapter Lead !

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional leadership for the Backend domain across the organization

• Drive architecture, technology standards, and Engineering Excellence initiatives

• Mentor developers and support technical growth across multiple teams

• Lead cross-functional initiatives and promote best practices in software development

• Work closely with architects, engineering managers, and development teams

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software and backend development – mandatory

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

• Proven experience leading multiple development teams from a professional/technical perspective

• Hands-on experience with Microservices and Distributed Systems

• Significant experience working with AWS

• Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes

• Strong architecture, mentoring, and technology leadership capabilities

Advantages:

• Experience in Fintech, Banking, or Payments environments

• Experience with OpenShift

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development
