Senior AI/LLM Tech Lead (Consulting)

We're looking for a Senior/Staff AI Engineer or AI Tech Lead to join a Cybersecurity company as a Fractional Consultant.

This is a strategic technical leadership role for someone with deep expertise in LLMs, Agentic AI, and Multi-Agent Systems, who is excited about applying AI to solve complex security challenges.

While the product is built for the Cybersecurity domain, prior cybersecurity experience is a plus. We're primarily looking for an outstanding AI expert with a strong track record in production LLM systems and AI engineering.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership for the company's AI strategy and LLM initiatives.

• Lead the development of AI-powered agents and Multi-Agent solutions.

• Define evaluation frameworks to measure quality, reliability

• Guide AI infrastructure, production readiness, and engineering best practices.

• Partner with product leadership and security domain experts to translate complex challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Help shape technical direction, delivery plans, and execution strategy.

What we're looking for

• Senior, Staff, or Tech Lead-level experience in AI Engineering.

• Proven experience delivering production-grade LLM applications.

• Deep expertise in Agentic AI, Multi-Agent Systems, RAG, tool calling, and modern LLM ecosystems.

• Strong background in AI evaluation, benchmarking, and quality assurance.

• Ability to advise engineering teams and influence technical decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in Cybersecurity or Security products.

• Familiarity with enterprise security platforms, security operations, or threat intelligence.
