Role Description The BI Solution Business Architect is a full-time hybrid role based in West Jerusalem, with the option to work from home part of the time. In this role, the architect will design and oversee end-to-end BI solutions, including data architectures, data models, and reporting structures aligned with business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, defining technical specifications, collaborating with data engineers and analysts, and guiding the implementation of data warehousing and ETL processes. The role involves shaping dashboard frameworks and KPI definitions, ensuring data quality and performance, and supporting stakeholders in leveraging BI insights for strategic decision-making. The BI Solution Business Architect will also contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s data and analytics capabilities.

A large and leading organization is seeking a BI Solution Business Architect for a key role combining deep business understanding, Data & BI solution design, and the leadership of cross-organizational projects.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams, translating business needs and processes into data solutions, and leading the solution from the requirements stage through implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand complex business processes and translate them into Data & BI requirements and solutions.

• Write functional specifications and lead the requirements definition process with business stakeholders.

• Lead projects and cross-organizational processes from initial requirements through go-live.

• Work closely with development teams and guide them according to business requirements and the required solution.

• Understand Data Architecture, data structures, DWH environments, and data flows between systems.

• Work with data to refine requirements and perform business-oriented QA of delivered solutions.

• Work with SAP systems and understand business processes and document types within SAP.

• Collaborate with a wide range of business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in analyzing and defining complex business processes – mandatory.

• Experience leading projects and cross-organizational processes – mandatory.

• Experience in BI / Data / DWH environments and a strong understanding of data architecture – mandatory.

• Familiarity and hands-on experience working with SAP and SAP business processes – mandatory.

• Strong ability to work with business stakeholders, manage interfaces, and lead professional discussions.

• Ability to understand and analyze data in order to refine requirements and validate deliverables.

• Experience in a large and complex organization – significant advantage.

Important to know:

Hands-on development or regular SQL coding is not required. The role focuses on business understanding, functional analysis, solution leadership, and project management, while requiring a strong technological understanding of Data and BI environments.
