We are looking for an M.Sc. student in Biomedical Engineering to join our Research & Innovation activities within the R&D organization.
The role is positioned at the intersection of engineering, physics, biology and medicine and is focused on the exploration, evaluation and development of new medical technologies.
The student will work closely with innovation leaders, physicists, engineers, clinical teams, academic researchers and external partners.
The position offers an opportunity to participate in early-stage innovation projects, academic collaborations, research programs and the development of new technological concepts for future medical devices.
How your day will be?
· Participate in the development and advancement of new innovation projects and emerging technologies.
· Support research programs conducted in collaboration with universities and academic institutions.
· Design and execute Proof-of-Concept experiments for new medical technologies.
· Conduct scientific literature reviews and technology landscape analyses.
· Evaluate the technical and scientific feasibility of new concepts.
· Develop experimental protocols and methodologies.
· Collect, process and analyze experimental data.
· Participate in projects involving energy-based devices, sensing, imaging, ultrasound, lasers and other medical technologies.
· Support early-stage technology scouting and evaluation.
· Work with multidisciplinary teams including researchers, clinicians, physicists and engineers.
· Prepare research summaries, technical reports and presentations to support R&D decision-making.
Requirements:
· B.Sc. student in Biomedical Engineering.
· At least one year remaining until graduation.
· Strong scientific background in biomedical engineering, physics, physiology and/or medical technologies.
· Ability to understand and critically evaluate scientific literature.
· Strong analytical thinking and scientific curiosity.
· Ability to independently explore and learn new technological fields.
· Hands-on laboratory capabilities.
· Strong written and spoken English.
· Availability for at least 2–3 working days per week.
Advantages:
· Previous academic research or laboratory experience.
· Experience with medical devices or biomedical systems.
