Located in Central Tel Aviv or the Northern Sharon / Coastal region (both within short walking distance from train stations), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.
Role Description-
• Serving as a Principal / Senior Hardware Board Design Engineer, architecting and designing high-performance, complex hardware platforms tailored for advanced AI Data Center environments.
• Leading end-to-end multi-layer high-speed PCB board designs incorporating ultra-high-speed interfaces (PCIe Gen6, 112G/224G SerDes, Retimers, and Network Switches).
• Architecting high-power Power Supply Units (PSU), power distribution networks (PDN), and high-efficiency thermal/loss management solutions.
• Owning the hardware development lifecycle end-to-end: from architecture and schematic capture through board bring-up, signal integrity validation, debugging, and production line transfer.
• Performing hands-on lab bring-up and characterization using advanced high-speed test and measurement equipment (High-bandwidth Oscilloscopes, BERT, VNAs).
• Driving HW-SW integration, system-level testing, and collaborating with manufacturing subcontractors and cross-functional R&D teams.
Requirements-
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Complex Hardware / Board Design, preferably for high-speed digital Data Center / Mass Production systems – Mandatory
• Proven expertise in Multi-Layer High-Speed PCB Design with cutting-edge interfaces: PCIe Gen6, 112G / 224G SerDes, Retimers, and high-speed switching – Mandatory
• In-depth experience with High-Power PSU Design, including power integrity, thermal optimization, and loss analysis – Mandatory
• Hands-on proficiency with Cadence tools (OrCAD, Allegro) – Mandatory
• Extensive track record in Board Bring-Up, Signal Integrity (SI) validation, and Hardware Debugging using high-end lab equipment – Mandatory
• Proven experience supporting manufacturing lines, NPI processes, and collaborating with external assembly subcontractors (CMs) – Mandatory
• Experience with CPLD / FPGA Design (Verilog / VHDL) – Advantage
• Background in Analog Circuit Design – Advantage
