BSP Developer

A leading technology company is looking for a BSP Developer to develop, port, and integrate board support packages for advanced Arm-based System on Modules.

The company designs, develops, and manufactures embedded System on Modules used by customers worldwide across industrial, medical, IoT, AI/ML edge, robotics, multimedia, and additional embedded applications. Its solutions help engineering teams accelerate product development, scale across processor families, and bring complex embedded products to market faster.

This is a hands-on embedded software role focused on BSP development for Linux and Android environments, including U-Boot, Linux Kernel, driver porting, board bring-up, debugging, and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BSPs for advanced embedded System on Modules.

• Work on U-Boot, Linux Kernel, and driver porting and integration.

• Develop low-level software components in C across Kernel and user-space environments.

• Support Linux and Android-based embedded platforms.

• Perform board bring-up for new hardware platforms.

• Debug, validate, and troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues.

• Work closely with hardware engineers on new board development, integration, and validation.

• Support production-ready embedded software releases and platform stability.

• Collaborate with R&D and technical support teams on BSP-related issues, customer needs, and platform improvements.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field - must.

• Experience in BSP development - must.

• Experience developing in C at both Kernel level and user-space level - must.

• Experience working with Linux and/or Android environments - must.

• Experience with Yocto- must.

• Experience with U-Boot, Linux Kernel, and driver integration.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments.
