Role Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst Engineer to join our Data team. In this role, you will build scalable data pipelines and models while using your technical and analytical skills to uncover the story behind the numbers and understand user behavior.

You will gather business requirements, architect scalable data models, and perform hands-on data analysis to deliver clear, actionable insights for key business metrics

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data models to track user behavior, monetization, and marketing.

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, complex data structures, and data processing workflows within a cloud environment.

• Analyze large, complex datasets representing user behavior, look beyond the numbers, and help inform, influence, support, and execute our business decisions.

• Be on the cutting edge of analysis, leveraging our data sources to propose new ideas that you'll then see implemented.

• Plan and analyze effective A/B tests in order to improve business KPIs.

• Work closely with Product, Monetization, Marketing, and Management teams; be proactive and translate business needs into actionable data solutions and recommendations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and BI Developer with a heavy business and technical focus, including experience in the gaming industry.

• Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience querying large, complex datasets and a solid understanding of data modeling concepts.

• High level of analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Great communication skills—the ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations.

• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and modern data stacks (orchestration, transformations, monitoring).

• Experience with cloud-based data technologies (GCP / AWS / Azure) and modern data warehouses (BigQuery / Redshift / Snowflake).

Advantages:

• Experience with data transformation and orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Apache Airflow)
