C# / .NET Developer

A leading technology organization is looking for a C# / .NET Developer to join a development team working on complex, legacy, and mission-critical systems, alongside modernization initiatives and migration to more advanced architectures and technologies.

The role combines development and maintenance of existing systems, work with WinForms, leading technological upgrades, and a gradual migration from .NET Framework to modern .NET / .NET Core environments.

The ideal candidate should be able to understand existing system architecture, implement changes carefully and methodically, and lead upgrade and modernization processes without compromising the stability of critical systems.

What does the role include?

• Development and maintenance of systems using C# / .NET.

• Working with WinForms-based desktop applications.

• Taking part in modernization processes for legacy systems.

• Upgrading and migrating systems from .NET Framework to .NET Core / modern .NET technologies.

• Refactoring and improving the architecture of existing systems.

• Developing new capabilities while maintaining the stability and functionality of legacy systems.

• Working with complex, highly integrated systems, including Command & Control systems (C2 / C4I).

• Working with interfaces, services, and external systems.

• Troubleshooting, code analysis, and performance optimization.

• Working as part of a development team and collaborating with system engineers, architects, QA, and other engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience developing in C#.

• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework / .NET.

• Experience developing and maintaining WinForms applications.

• Experience working with complex systems and multiple interfaces.

• Experience with modernization / migration processes of existing systems.

• Experience migrating or upgrading systems from .NET Framework to .NET Core / modern .NET versions.

• Experience with Command & Control systems – an advantage.

• Ability to understand and analyze large codebases and legacy systems.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
