C++ Software Engineer for AI

At Infinidat, a Lenovo company, we empower enterprises and service providers with cutting-edge storage platforms that redefine performance, reliability, and cyber resilience at scale. We're looking for a mid-level engineer to join the team building our S3-compatible object storage, purpose-built for the throughput and latency demands of AI — including GPUDirect Storage integration for direct data movement between storage and GPU memory.

Requirements: • Strong C++ fundamentals: memory management, pointers, structs, and comfort reasoning about low-level system behavior • Experience with systems-level programming — anything involving file I/O, networking, or OS-level APIs is relevant, even outside storage specifically • Some Go experience is a plus (our services are Go with CGO bindings into the C layer), but strong C++ instincts matter more than prior Go exposure • Comfort with concurrency: locks, race conditions, deadlock avoidance • Careful, methodical debugging habits — this system prioritizes correctness over speed of shipping, and bugs here can mean data loss • Ability to read and extend existing native code rather than always designing greenfield systems   About Infinidat Infinidat’s enterprise storage portfolio provides global Fortune 500 enterprises and service providers with best-in-class solutions for primary storage, next-generation data protection, disaster recovery, business continuity, and cyber resilience.
