Data Engineer

Fiverr is looking for a Data Engineer who will join our team and create new data solutions, maintain existing solutions and be a focal point for analytics infrastructure.

As part of this position, you will develop advanced data and analytics solutions to support our analysts and data developers with validated and reliable data.

The position is a temporary replacement for maternity leave.

What am I going to do?:

• Develop and maintain Fiverr’s analytical data infrastructure.

• Develop in-house applications for simplifying data transformation, analysis, and accessibility.

• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.

• Provide data developers, data scientists and software engineers technical support related to data infrastructure and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Between 2-4 years of experience with programming languages, specifically Python.

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Pandas).

• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, Prefect, Dagster).

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
