Wireless RF Planning Team Lead

About the Role:

A leading global technology group developing end-to-end IoT smart systems (Hardware, Software, Wireless & Cloud) is seeking a Wireless RF Planning Team Lead to drive a strategic, large-scale infrastructure deployment project in the US market.

What Will You Do?

• Lead and architect wireless network planning (RF Network Planning) for large-scale projects in the US.

• Build and manage a team of engineers and specialists in network planning and monitoring.

• Work closely with and train field teams in our global subsidiaries (defining placement for base stations, antennas, coverage, and performance).

• Execute operational analyses, field trials, and continuous network performance monitoring & optimization.

• The position is based at our R&D center in the North/Emek region (flexible hybrid model, with no day-to-day lab work).

• Requires willingness for targeted travel abroad (primarily US) at around 20% (approx. two-week trips every few months).

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Electronics with a specialization in Radio / Telecommunications / RF – Must.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience in wireless / cellular network planning (RF Planning / Network Coverage / Cellular Infrastructure) – Must.

• Leadership Background: Experience in team management or strong technical/project lead experience – Must.

• Interpersonal Skills & Language: Fluent, high-level English (speaking, writing, presenting), high service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with international teams.

• Analytical Skills: Experience in tracking, monitoring, and optimizing network performance.
