Head of Accounting (Chief Bookkeeper)

Pama is hiring a Chief Bookkeeper to lead the company's accounting operations, including the professional management of the bookkeeping team, implementation of financial controls, and leadership of cross-functional organizational projects.

Location: Ramat HaHayal, Tel Aviv

Position: Full-time (employee parking available)

Responsibilities

Lead and implement cross-functional technology projects.

Manage ongoing relationships and daily work with banking institutions.

Perform daily cash flow reviews and monitoring.

Implement and maintain financial controls across the Finance Department.

Review and approve supplier invoices and payments.

Oversee the company's accounting function, including the professional management of the bookkeeping team.

Work closely with senior management and collaborate with cross-functional departments.

Report directly to the Senior Finance Manager.

Requirements

Bookkeeping Certificate Level 3 – Required

At least 10 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or finance – Required

Proven experience leading cross-functional organizational projects – Required

Strong leadership capabilities – Required; previous people management experience is a significant advantage.

Experience working with ERP systems – Required; familiarity with Tafnit ERP is a significant advantage.

Bachelor's degree – Significant advantage.

Strong business acumen – Required

Business and technological orientation.
