Senior Applied AI / LLM & NLP Engineer - Freelance / Consultant

Winnity is a social gaming experience built around live soccer.

We're looking for a senior, hands-on AI engineer to help us take the AI capabilities behind Winnity to the next level.

At the center of the product is Flash, our AI Game Master, which follows live matches and creates interactive moments for fans as the game unfolds.

We already have a working product and AI implementation. We're now looking for someone with deep experience in LLMs, applied NLP and production AI systems to help us improve the intelligence, quality, real-time performance and architecture behind Flash.

A key part of the challenge is designing AI systems that can consume structured, continuously changing information, understand the relevant context, and reliably generate the right behavior and output based on that context.

We are particularly interested in experience with:

• LLM and Generative AI systems in production

• Applied NLP / NLU / NLG

• Context engineering and prompt architecture

• LLM evaluation and benchmarking

• Structured data and structured outputs

• Tool/function calling and AI orchestration

• Model selection and routing

• Real-time AI systems and latency optimization

• Guardrails, validation and hallucination control

Experience with SportsTech, gaming, consumer products or real-time applications is a major plus.

We are looking for someone who is both technically strong and product-minded - someone who can understand the desired user experience and translate it into intelligent AI behavior, rather than simply integrating an LLM API.

This is initially a freelance / consulting engagement, with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel

We strongly prefer someone based in Israel who can work closely with the team and collaborate in person.
