Electronic Systems Development Lead

About the Role

The Engineering and Systems Plant within the Missile & Space Systems Group is looking for an Electronic Systems Development Lead.

The Role Includes

• Full responsibility throughout the entire development lifecycle from requirements definition, design, simulations, and testing through production transfer and operational deployment.

• Leading failure investigations and environmental testing, including EMC/EMI, vibration, thermal shock, and reliability testing.

• Working across multiple interfaces and in compliance with stringent quality, reliability, and regulatory requirements, collaborating with systems, mechanical, software, FPGA, integration, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams.

• Responsibility for meeting performance, cost, weight, power consumption, and schedule targets.

• Providing technical leadership to a team of hardware engineers and working closely with system teams and customers.

• Leading Design Reviews, risk management, and engineering decisions.

• Matrix management of subcontractors, suppliers, and technology partners in Israel and abroad.

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

• Proven experience in hardware development, from requirements definition through mass production.

• At least 3 years of experience in matrix management of development teams.

• Strong technical capabilities.

• High level of Hebrew and English.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Advantages:

• M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

• Experience writing specifications, requirements documents, and test documentation.

• Experience in the defense or space industries.

• Experience designing electronic architectures with a strong system-level perspective.
