Technical Manager

We are looking for

For our company site in Modiin, we are looking for a Technical Manager. In this key role, you will serve as the chief engineering authority for the UAV platform and system, holding end-to-end responsibility for design, integration, performance, and reliability of all system components

As part of your work, you will lead the development of the aerial vehicle across all aspects, including OML, structure, system architecture, software and hardware infrastructure, propulsion and energy systems, communications and navigation, while ensuring future scalability and modularity

You will coordinate the technical efforts across all engineering disciplines, lead system requirements analysis, define subsystem requirements, evaluate design alternatives, and make long-term technical decisions

The position entails responsibility for meeting quality, schedule, and budget goals while ensuring a robust and maintainable platform for years to come. You will also act as a strategic partner to program and division leadership, shaping the technological roadmap, developing and upgrading platforms, and building future capabilities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

Master’s degree in Engineering – Advantage

At least 5 years of experience in UAV systems development and in working with multidisciplinary teams

Familiarity with UAV or aircraft certification and regulation processes – Advantage

Managerial experience – Advantage

Strong system-level understanding with the ability to maintain a holistic view while delving into technical details

High multitasking ability and experience managing multiple technical interfaces

Proven leadership and team motivation skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

Experience in customer requirements analysis, internal requirements definition, and leading system design processes
