Planner - Defense Industry

A leading defense company is looking for a Project Planning Engineer (Planner) to join its central planning team, playing a key role in managing material planning, production processes, and project-level supply chain activities in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute MRP runs and manage material planning for complex BOMs

• Analyze BOMs and classify Make/Buy items

• Lead procurement activities, including opening purchase requisitions and production work orders

• Monitor and control procurement and production processes in alignment with project plans

• Prepare and present project status and inventory reports

• Manage and track inventory transfers between projects

• Support and drive production floor activities, including process definition at specific stations

• Identify gaps and resolve operational issues

• Prepare cost estimates for assemblies and specific BOMs

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering – MUST

• At least 2 years of experience as a Planner or in a similar role - MUST

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with SAP – advantage

• Experience in a manufacturing environment – advantage

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and models – advantage

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
