Chief Data Scientist

COMBLACK is looking for a Senior Data Scientist – GenAI & NLP!

This is a senior hands-on position combining technical leadership with the development and production deployment of advanced AI and GenAI solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Lead Data Science and GenAI initiatives from both a professional and technological perspective

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI, NLP, and LLM-based solutions

• Build RAG architectures, including Chunking, Embeddings, Vector Search, and Reranking

• Develop Text-to-SQL and Natural Language-to-Data solutions

• Work with both structured and unstructured data sources

• Define technical architectures and lead complex AI projects

• Build Evaluation processes, conduct Code Reviews, and provide technical guidance

• Work with DataOps, MLOps, and LLMOps practices

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in Data roles, including at least 3 years of Data Science experience

• Significant experience developing and deploying Retrieval and NLP systems to production

• Hands-on experience designing and developing RAG systems

• Experience developing Text-to-SQL or similar Natural Language-to-Structured-Data solutions

• Strong hands-on Python and SQL skills

• Experience with Vector Databases, Search Engines, Document Stores, Knowledge Graphs, or similar technologies
