Chief Engineer – Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

About the Role

A leading civil engineering and general contracting firm with an extensive portfolio of landmark mega-projects across Israel is seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer for a key executive leadership role.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the organization’s highest engineering authority, overseeing all engineering practices, field execution standards, regional managers, and on-site technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the supreme engineering authority across all company operations, directly mentoring regional managers and site teams.

• Elevate the organizational engineering standard and establish robust technical infrastructure across all business units.

• Direct project engineering execution while maintaining stringent compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.

• Supervise engineering teams, subcontractors, and consultants; deliver real-time technical solutions for on-site challenges.

• Ensure regulatory compliance, engineering standards, and contractor unlimited classification requirements (סיווג ג'5 / בלתי מוגבל).

• Formulate and implement advanced execution methodologies tailored to complex project specifications.

• Partner with the executive leadership team to drive creative engineering solutions and cross-departmental technical support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from an accredited academic institution – must.

• Extensive track record in senior engineering and execution management within large-scale contracting / infrastructure firms – must.

• Deep, proven hands-on field execution background – must.

• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and large-scale project lifecycles – must.

• In-depth working experience with unlimited contractor classifications (סיווגים בלתי מוגבלים) – must.

• Advanced proficiency in engineering software applications and project management tools – must.
