Chief Information Officer (CIO)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the organization's Information Technology function.

The CIO will have overall responsibility for the IT organization, which develops and supports the company's technology ecosystem, including IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and information security, applications, software development, and digital solutions.

The role is responsible for driving the stability, transformation, and execution of the company's IT strategy, serving as a strategic business partner to the organization's business units and supporting technological innovation across the company.

The IT organization consists of approximately 300 employees.

Reports to: EVP Operations

A leading Israeli defense and technology organization with approximately 15,000 employees, operating globally across aerospace, space, missile systems, radar, unmanned systems, electronic warfare, software, homeland security, intelligence, and civil aviation.

The organization develops and delivers advanced technological solutions across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains for customers in Israel and around the world, serving both defense and civilian markets.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements

• Israeli citizenship.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Exact Sciences, Business Administration, and/or another academic discipline relevant to the company's core areas of activity.

• At least 7 years of experience managing and overseeing IT projects, including work planning, execution, and performance tracking.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems development and maintenance, including SAP, databases, and cybersecurity.

• Proven experience in business negotiations.

• Proven experience managing an organization of at least 100 employees.

• Proficiency in English.

Professional Qualifications

• Experience working with suppliers and vendors in Israel and internationally.

• Knowledge and experience in analyzing financial and economic reports.

Additional Information

• The position requires meeting the security clearance requirements applicable to the role.

• Employment will be under a personal employment agreement, in accordance with the applicable terms and regulations for senior executives.

• The term of appointment for senior executives is five years, with the possibility of extension in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational needs.

• The appointment process will be conducted in accordance with applicable Israeli law and regulations.

• Candidates may be required to undergo assessments, interviews, background checks, and a security clearance process.
